Chianti Classico Viticcio
Chianti Classico Viticcio is produced from registered vines grown on
the estate in accordance with stipulated norms of DOCG production.
The principal grape variety is Tuscan Sangiovese. Vinification takes
place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with frequent
pumping over to enhance the extraction of tannins and colour. In accordance
with tradition, the wine is aged in medium-sized oak barrels for about
12 months, followed by bottle ageing in temperature-controlled cellars
for a minimum of three months before being released onto market.
